FFXI update
I got it to work after all! Thanks to Lord of the Rings Online, of all things. It's kind of a long and complicated story that highlights my stupidity, so I'd rather not tell it:p Besides, I'm not playing it anymore (although it was a week of pure bliss spent in my hometown and empty Mog house), partly because the user interface drives me mad and partly because I'm cheap, but mostly because I need the hard drive space for Guild Wars.
